UK Inflation Falls Below 2% Target in June
UK consumer inflation fell below the Bank of England’s 2% target for the first time in almost 2 years in June. “The economy is still extremely weak and therefore there’s no chance of price rising,” Trevor Williams from Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets said, adding the BoE is unlikely to raise rates until “well into next year.”
